MAC’S PIG SOAP
These melt and pour soaps are super cute, bubbly and perfect for grubby little hands. Vanilla scented they can be used in the bath or as a hand basin soap. Colour will vary, but will be some sort of pink.
Mac (my 5 year old son) and I made these together from a pre-made soap base. The base is carefully melted then essential oils and skin safe mica or clays are mixed in to naturally colour and scent the soap. A steady hand is required to pour into the moulds and the exciting thing about melt and pour soaps is that you can use the soap straight away (unlike the cold process where I make it from scratch and it needs to cure for 4-6 weeks).
Mac gets a 50% cut of each soap he helps make. We have been doing this together as he LOVES CREATING & MAKING. It’s a wonderful opportunity for him to learn so many helpful life skills and some maths along the way.
